TACTICAL SIGNIFIGANCE
The south west fringes of the Er Ting mountain range are extremely rugged and form a natural barrier between the central lowlands of the Hai Shi Dao island and the separatist state of the Right Brothers. There are only two passes which can be traversed by mechanised battalions, Wei Gu and Luan Na. At the time of the Kasai Island conflict, Wei Gu pass was under the control of the Hai Shi Dao faction, but their hold on the base was tenuous at best. Continued Right Brothers guerrilla attacks and limitations on combat resources due to their diversion to PRF front lines left Wei Gu base vulnerable to attack.
MISSION PROFILE
Wei Gu is composed of narrow canyon pathways and steep water-filled ravines. The ground is very uneven and can be difficult to traverse in low-torque rated VTs. There are several switchbacks and rocky alcoves which can be used to create ambushes and chokepoints.
Defender Objective: Destruction of attacker VTs, capture of enemy bases.
