TACTICAL SIGNIFIGANCE
Unable to successfully engage the Right Brothers in mountain combat, the Hai Shi Dao repositioned their forces for an assault along the north western coastal plain of the Right Brothers separatist territory. Despite the numerical superiority of the HSD attackers, the Right Brothers had the advantage of terrain familiarity and VTs more suited to the swampy battlefield environment. Hoping to flush the entrenched RB defenders, the HSD 59th and 103rd battalions marched into the heart of the Jacalita Woodlands, only to find themselves embroilled in close quarters guerilla combat with RB irregulars.
MISSION PROFILE
The Jacalita Woodlands are composed of coastal swamps, deepwater ravines and densely forested low-lying islands. The ever-present water makes fast attack strategies difficult to implement and favour artillery tactics and guerilla warfare. The dark areas on the map represent deep water ravines and cannot be traversed by VTs, attempting to do so will result in the loss of the machine.
Due to the numerous water crossings, this map can be difficult to navigate effectively and travel between objectives can take some time. High torque rated VTs are favoured in this environment.
Defender Objective: Eliminate attacking enemy VTs, deprive them of Sortie Points and capture bases.
Attacker Objective: Eliminate defending enemy VTs, deprive them of Sortie Points and capture bases.
Possible Non-VT Targets
